Energy Transfer Partners recently asked federal regulators to give the Rover natural gas pipeline permission to begin service on additional facilities so stranded U.S. Northeast shale gas can be transported to Midwest markets, according to Platts.

The Rover’s latest in-service request to the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission involves mainline compressor stations, mainline pipeline segments and a Vector Pipeline delivery meter station. The second phase of the project is designed to allow access to Vector and Dawn Hub in Ontario.

The pipeline stretches across northern Ohio into Michigan.
