Respondents to a Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas survey expect the U.S. Benchmark for the price of oil to reach $65.68 per barrel but the end of the year, according to United Press International.

Representatives from 137 energy firms were surveyed by the Dallas Fed between June 13 and June 21. When asked about their expectations about the price for West Texas Intermediate and the U.S. benchmark for the price of oil, respondents’ answers ranged from between $50 and $90 per barrel, with an average expectation of $65.68 by the end of the year.

The most recent results marked the seventh quarter in a row that the Dallas Fed found oil and gas production increased.
