Last week, Williams Partners announced construction on the $3 billion Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline is expected to go into service in late August, according to Kallanish Energy.

The company is anticipating mechanical completion next month, with full-service of 1.7 billion cubic feet per day expected to begin in the second half of the month, pending final regulatory approvals.

Moving through five eastern states, the pipeline is seen as a key link to move Appalachian Basin natural gas from the Marcellus shale in northeast Pennsylvania to markets in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S.
